Power in OConnors The Artificial Nigger and Masons Shiloh Essay
Power in O'Connor's The Artificial Nigger and Mason's Shiloh Flannery O'Connor's story The Artificial Nigger and Bobbie Ann Mason's story Shiloh both possess characters that excercise power . Mr. Head, the main character that exercises power in The Artificial Nigger, is an old racist man, who claims to know everything. In Mason's story, Norma Jean, a simple southern woman who wants change in her life, is the main character that exercises power. Both characters are similar in their successful exercise of power; however, the effects their power have are different. Mr. Head's exercise of power has a negative effect on his grandson, Nelson, while Norma Jean's exercise of power serves as a way to benefit herself. Mr. Head's main focus is to make Nelson see black people as "niggers" and for Nelson to fear the city. Mr. Head's controling nature effects Nelson in a negative manner. From the beginning of the story, Mr. Head's powerful and controling personality is evident when the narrator states, "...he saw half of the moon five feet away in his shaving mirror, paused as if it were waiting to enter" (249). Mr. Head's desire to control also extends to all aspects of life. His intentions for Nelson are clear when he says, "...but I mean for him to get his fill once and for all" (254). By making Nelson feel powerless, Mr. Head steals away his innocence. Before influencing his grandson, Nelson's description of a black man is "'A man,'" but later in the story Nelson begins to see black people as "niggers," just like his grandfather (255). Fearing the cit y, also has a negative effect on Nelson. He holds pride in being born in Atlanta, but his grandfather wants to teach Nelson that "he had no cause for pride merely because he had been... ...aking classes, she is able to slowly but surely find her independence again. Norma Jean finally tells her husband that she wants to leave him because she does not want to "...feel eighteen again" (500). By leaving Leroy and starting a new life, Norma Jean is able to forget the pain and embarassment she felt many years ago. The power she possesses enables her to succeed in her wish to move on. The characters in both stories have similarities and differences. Mr. Head and Norma Jean use their power to get what they want. Both are similar because they are successful in exercising their power and are different becausse their power has different effects. Mr. Head thrives on control and succeeds in his plan to control his grandson. Norma Jean works at self-improvemennt so that she can leave her husband and continue to live the life that she has longed for. Ã Ã

Knowledge and Understanding of the Confessions of Jeremiah Essay
Outline your knowledge and understanding of the Confessions of Jeremiah Jeremiah was the son of Hilkiah, and a member of a priestly family. He was a native of Judah and came from Anathoth, a small village in the north east of Jerusalem. His prophetic ministry lasted from approximately 626 to 580BC, and is one of the longest of all the writing prophets. The prophet Jeremiah began his long prophetic career in 626BC; ââ¬Å"in the thirteenth year of Josiahââ¬â¢s reignâ⬠He was still a very young man at this time. The narrative of his call is in a dialogue between Jeremiah and Yahweh. From this we can see straight away that Jeremiah had a very intimate relationship with God from the outset. Unlike other prophets, Jeremiah seems to have been chosen to be a prophet before he was even born. ââ¬Å"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you. Before you were born I consecrated you, I appointed you a prophet to the nations.â⬠It seemed it was the destiny of Jeremiah to be a prophet. According to Kidner, Jeremiah was ââ¬Å"handmade for the task.â⬠Similarly to Moses and Amos, at first Jeremiah was reluctant to consent to his mission, saying ââ¬Å"Ah Lord God behold I do not know how to speak for I am only a youthâ⬠, but his faith in Yahweh gave him faith in himself, and he accepted the role God asked of him. Perhaps this teaches us the meaning of rising to face personal challenges. Yahweh said to Jeremiah ââ¬Å"Be not afraid of them for I am with you to deliver you.â⬠This is very much the faith of believers today, that in times of trouble, God is constant in our lives. In Jeremiahs call, Yahweh outlines the purpose of his ministry. He says ââ¬Å"I have set you this day over nations and kingdoms, to pluck up and to break down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.â⬠This summarizes the two main aspects of Jeremiahs mission. It was to be a twofold mission, having both a positive and negative mission, and promising reconstruction after destruction. Yahweh intended to punish the people for their sins and injustice, yet it would be this destruction that would create a new and holy people. In this aspect, we can see a similarity between Hosea and Jeremiah, in that Hosea also believed in Redemptive Judgement. Following the dialogue of Jeremiahââ¬â¢s call, there were two visions. The first of these visions is the vision of the almond rod, and the second vision is one of the boiling pot facing away from the north. These visions both contained a message of judgement. The mouth of the put is facing towards the south, away from the north, which implies that the danger that Judah will face will come from the north, and that these forces will destroy Judah. Yahweh says here ââ¬Å"And I will utter my judgements against them, for all their wickedness in forsaking me; they have made their offerings to other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands.â⬠In his visions, God speaks very frankly of judgement, expressing that it is going to happen soon, and that the destruction is going to come from the North. After this, Yahweh encourages Jeremiah again with the divine power of his task. He is made aware that being young and experienced, he would be resisted and persecuted by many, but that he would be upheld and strengthened by God. Jeremiah understood ââ¬Å"sinâ⬠in terms of the betrayal of love, and accused the people of being guilty of embracing pagan gods, and flirting with heathen empires. They succumbed to the corrupting influences of the nature cults. Jeremiah found their behaviour incredible, and failed to understand why after Yahweh had been so good to the people during the time of exodus, they would desert him. He accused the people of forsaking Yahweh saying ââ¬Å"They have forsaken me, the fountain of living water, and dug out cisterns for themselves, cracked cisterns that can hold no water.â⬠In other words, they had deserted Yahweh for gods which were useless to them. Jeremiah also outlined the futility of foreign alliances, and said that in times of political emergency, he left their true protector. They lost faith in Yahweh, and this led to Assyria losing their religion independence. Jeremiah felt this was stupidity on their part, and appealed to the people to return to the covenant, but they paid him no heed. The call from Jeremiah is a call for repentance. Kidner said ââ¬Å"Judah had seen it all and followed suit, sinning with her eyes open. To make it worse she had put on a sanctimonious show of repentance and reform.â⬠Jeremiah says that the Jews were guilty of syncretism and apostasy, but that they were so religiously complacent that they were ignorant of their own sin. There was evidence of paganism and the people of Judah were confused. The nation had sunk to a dangerously low level of religious impurity. They had become hardened, and unfeeling in relation to their conscience. Jeremiahs confessions are autobiographical. The book of Jeremiah is split into six different passages The passages in jeremiahs confessions have three things in common, they are in first person, they are directly addressed to God and not to the people or its rulers, and they express the deep suffering felt by the prophet in exercising his mission. These passages are what made Jeremiah unique amongst the Hebrew prophets. He is the only prophet to reveal the personal impact his role had on him. In the confessional passages we see a real, human being, whose frailty we can identify with and whose trauma we can understand. Rarely did other prophets give us a glimpse into their lives, but in the passages Jeremiah wrote, he revealed his soul. Throughout his ministry, Jeremiah was often in conflict with his own contemporaries. This conflict was not his choosing. We are reminded of Hosea, in the sense that Jeremiah was a man of intense sympathy and tenderness of the heart, and all he wanted was to feel the love and companionship of others. He despised the conflict that deprived him of warmth and conflict that he craved, and so he became a depressed and hostile man. Yahweh said to Jeremiah ââ¬Å"You shall not take a wife, nor shall you have sons and daughters in this place.â⬠This was due to the impending crisis. In the ancient near east, sterility was considered to be a terrible curse, so we know from this that Jeremiahs celibacy would not have been down to personal choice. This shows how Jeremiah endured personal suffering, as a result of the nationââ¬â¢s wickedness. The first two passages in Jeremiahs confessions reveal a plot against his life, instigated by immediate family and acquaintances. The people saw Jeremiah, son of a priest, as a traitor. He reacted fiercely to this plot, and asked for the death of these men. The incident caused Jeremiah to reflect on his mission, and on the very meaning of human existence. As Jeremiah asked for no more than justice, God upheld his fierce reaction saying ââ¬Å"I am going to punish themâ⬠¦For I will bring disaster upon the people of Anathoth.â⬠This punishment however is not for vengeance, it is for reform. It is here that Jeremiah shows us a different side of him. He exaggerates the gloom, and welcomes the thought of retribution. Yahweh tells him that he has to keep his faith and courage during his sufferings, because they are little compared to what is to come. God knows only too well the pain of ingratitude; desertion from a spouse; defiance of a son, a daughter. A parallel is evident between the familyââ¬â¢s rejection of Jeremiah, and the nationââ¬â¢s rejection of Yahweh. In the third passage, we see a new outburst and pleading by Jeremiah as he describes the ââ¬Å"inner crisisâ⬠he is facing. He believed that everything he did seemed to bring him into conflict with his fellow men. It is here that Jeremiah laments on his mother, saying ââ¬Å"woe is me, my mother that you ever bore me, a man of strife and contention to the whole land.â⬠As Jeremiahââ¬â¢s call predates his birth, to curse the day of his birth would mean a rejection of his mission. His persecution arises from the message he has to deliver. Jeremiah was depressed by his work and often wondered about its purpose. In his eyes, all it caused was contention with his fellow Jews, and made him considered a troublemaker. The reaction the people of Judah gave him meant he became bitter, and saw himself condemned to a life of loneliness. The people reacted in such a hostile way to Jeremiah because he told them what they didnââ¬â¢t want to hear. He foretold disaster and the people remained sceptical of what he was saying, which only caused Jeremiah to fall even further into depression. As a result of the personal persecution and enforced loneliness, Jeremiah became vindictive and actually prayed for vengeance on those who treated him so poorly. This desire for vengeance only further reveals the humanity of Jeremiah. The third confession also indicates that Jeremiah faced an inward struggle with Yahweh, as well as an outward struggle with men. He was torn between obligation and inclination. He felt obliged to work as a prophet, and continue to live the sort of life that would lead to conflict with others, but due to the stress his prophetic work caused him, he felt inclined to avoid it. In the beginning, the words of Yahweh brought Jeremiah joy. ââ¬Å"Your words were found, and I ate them and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heartâ⬠, but this has all changed now. Jeremiah has been left an object of ridicule, and Godââ¬â¢s words no longer gave him joy. He felt God used him as instrument to announce pain and destruction on people he felt love for, and at times he was almost blasphemous, accusing Yahweh of overpowering and misleading him. ââ¬Å"Oh Lord though hast deceived me, and I was deceived, thou art stronger than I and thou hast prevailed. Yahwehââ¬â¢s reply renews and confirms he prophetââ¬â¢s mission, using the very words from his call. ââ¬Å"And I will make you to this people a fortified wall of bronze.â⬠It is made clear h owever, that this will only happen when Jeremiah has converted, and regained confidence within his mission. In the last of the confessional passages, Jeremiah tells us of his most dramatic inner crisis, firmly believing that Yahweh has tricked him. ââ¬Å"Oh Lord you have enticed me and I was enticed; you have over powered me and you have prevailed.â⬠He fears being classed as a false prophet, which would have been devastating because he is one of the biggest critics of them. These false prophets were Jeremiahs greatest competition, and promised a shortcut to divine restoration. They spoke of peace, and attempted to ââ¬Å"heal the wound of the people lightlyâ⬠, but their remedies failed to touch even the root of the problem. Jeremiah says the complete opposite to these false prophets. Jeremiah believed that Yahweh would intervene in human history to punish, where as the false prophets proclaimed that God was uninterested in human affairs, and therefore that he wouldnââ¬â¢t intervene in them. Jeremiah believes that they feed the Jews with false hope, whenever doom is inevitable, and without the destruction they cannot be rebuilt. According to Bright, these prophets are ââ¬Å"nothing but wind.â⬠The role of a true prophet was often to act as a contestant to the status quo. The people of Judah did not like the challenge that Jeremiah was presenting them with. Jeremiah remained insistent however, that in light of Judahââ¬â¢s perversity, she would be punished. Although here he is clearly presented as a Prophet of Doom, this is only one aspect to his mission, and like other prophets, he does have a message of hope. Similarly to Amos, Jeremiah is warning the people what is to come if they do not repent, he is giving them warning so change is a possibility. It is for this reason he is also known as the ââ¬Å"Prophet of Repentance.â⬠He feels doubtful in relation to his message, and feels he is crying wolf in regard to his mission, by proclaiming a message of judgement which has not yet come to pass. Once again we are reminded of the conflict with Jeremiah in relation to obligation and inclination. Here Jeremiah describes his obligation to speak in a prophetic voice as a fire burning within him, forcing him to go on with his prophetic work despite the feeling that his inclination was to stop. Jeremiah speaks of his struggle saying ââ¬Å"If I saw I will not mention him, or speak anymore in his name, the n within me there is something like a burning fire shut up in my bones. I am weary with holding it in and I cannot.â⬠When Jeremiah says ââ¬Å"But the Lord is with me like a dread warrior; therefore my persecutors will stumbleâ⬠, he seems to have come to realise that within him there was the potential to move forwards and cope with what he thought was impossible. He finally realised that he was not alone, and that God would always be with him. Although Jeremiah at times curses the day he was born, the one thing that lifted him out of his depression was the deep conviction that Yahweh would always be there for him. Kidner says on Jeremiah ââ¬Å"He goes on to his worst ordeals with never a hesitation or a word of doubt.â⬠In conclusions, the outpourings from Jeremiahs heart that we witness in his confessions could be said to reveal imperfections about his human character, such as vindictiveness towards his fellow men and irrelevance towards God. However as Jeremiah was aware of his own perfections, by repenting Yahweh would help him overcome all of his human imperfections. If only the Jews had have realised the need to repent, then Yahweh could have help them overcome their imperfections through prayer and dialogue.

Manipulation andf the Dramatic Irony of Othello by...
The play Othello was written in the 1600ââ¬â¢s; there were many themes to pull out while reading it. One that stood out to me the most was manipulation. There are many tactics available to get what you want and make people your puppets. Playing with their emotions and mind, by being charming, and putting on an act pretending to be interested in whatââ¬â¢s best for them. In Othello by Shakespeare, we see how easy it is to skillfully influence gullible people using similes and dramatic irony. This play started out with the beautiful Desdemona and the Moor Othello. Marrying behind closed doors, their decision caused a lot of commotion. Jealous men of the love and power they shared planned to shed blood. Devious Iago made a plan to get Othello out ofâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦This ties into the theme because Iago did snag him in his game. He got Cassio to sell everything he had and give it him in return for many intriguing lies. Another literary device Shakespeare used to get t he theme manipulation across was dramatic irony. I like the way he used this in the play because it gives the people reading insight on things the characters will eventually find out but currently arenââ¬â¢t aware of. One quote that I thought was particularly important was ââ¬Å"â⬠¦. It is my natures plague to spy into abuses, and oft my jealousy shapes faults that are notâ⬠¦ It were not for your quiet nor your good not for my manhood, honest, and wisdom to let you know my thoughtsâ⬠(Act 3, Scene 3, line 152-158) because Iago was starting to say things about Cassio looking suspicious when leaving Desdemona just before this came out his mouth. Then telling Othello he didnââ¬â¢t want to tell him about his thoughts because it would destroy his peace of mind only gave Othello more skepticism about his wifeââ¬â¢s infidelity, going right along with Iagoââ¬â¢s plan. Another example of dramatic irony was when Desdemona had dropped the handkerchief her husband gave to her and Emilia picked it up to give to Iago. ââ¬Å"(picks up the handkerchief) I am glad I have found this napkin, this was her first remembrance from the Moor. My wayward husband hath a hundred times

The Pioneering Exploration Of The Caribbean Islands By...
Introduction The pioneering exploration of the Caribbean Islands by Christopher Columbus led to the first European contact of Taino Indians in that region. This encounter resulted in the Taino Indians being traded, yet opened the South Atlantic and Caribbean for future exploration and eventual colonization. The First Voyage of Christopher Columbusââ¬â¢ kicked off his legacy. Find the Funds Columbus had a different idea: Why not sail west across the Atlantic instead of around the massive African continent? However, the trip was long, longer than anticipated by either Columbus or his crew. In order to mollify his crew s apprehensions, Columbus kept two sets of logs: one showing the true distance traveled each day and one showing a lesser distance. The first log was kept secret. The latter log quieted the crew s anxiety by under-reporting the true distance they had traveled from their homeland. This deception had only a temporary effect; by October 10 the crew s apprehension had increased to the point of near mutiny. Columbus headed off disaster by promising his crew that if land was not sighted in two days, they would return home. The next day land was discovered.(EyeWitness to History.com) Even though it took a while to find something they actually found land and even more. Framework Convention on Tobacco Control â⬠MyAssignmenthelp.com
Question: Discuss about the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control. Answer: Introduction The following is the research proposal in the usage of tobacco and control strategies that can eradicate the problem from earth. The following research proposal contains a brief summary of the literature review done previously and the control strategies and recommendation of government campaigns. The objective and outline of the project is given. The consolidation of the work that needs to be done according the time schedule is also given. The primary questions and research methodology is thoroughly discussed. The steps that needs to be taken while doing the research is given too (Golnick et al. 2016). To build a foundation of research in the analysing the field of tobacco usage in different demographic area To analyse and highlight the control strategy of tobacco usage and its foul effect in environment To identify the effectiveness of the implementation strategies of barring the usage of tobacco To recommend the further improvement in the implementation strategies The main scope of the project is the discussion in the control and the implementation strategy of reducing the usage of tobacco in different lifestyle of the population. The different strategy and campaign that are used by the government in controlling the issue and how it have been useful in eliminating the problem. The health of people all over the world is the major concern of this prevention strategy. Initial issue will be identified as the consumption of tobacco in different form and based on those different aspects of usage and the preventive strategies implementation plan will be discussed. The emphasis in the eradication plan will be given. Therefore, the control strategies will be discussed for further usage of research in the domain. In addition, it will also be analysed about how much consciousness is there in the mind of the adverse effect of tobacco consumption and what steps are taken in increasing the awareness (de Silva et al. 2017). Literature review summary Tobacco usage has been a main issue of concern for government as well as the health department all over the world. The extensive use of tobacco causes certain diseases that cannot be eradicated easily. According the survey done previously, half million people all over the world losses their lives from the harmful effect of tobacco. Even though the awareness spread around the world, the major problems have also affected the world. The low price and reach ability of all ages to the various object of tobacco is one of the main cause of diseases that hits the general population. Not only the smokers but also the non-smokers are victim of the related diseases (Greenland et al. 2016). The use of tobacco has causes stimulation in different deadly diseases. The use of the product starts early at the age of 18 years (World Health Organization 2015). Therefore, the habit of smoking is continued until the later years of life. To curb the habit of smoking the youths must be made aware and prevented from getting into the habit itself (Yong et al. 2015). The preventive measure that is in action must be firmly controlled while the strategies to eliminate the issue should be implemented in parallel. The traditional measures of controlling the tobacco industry must be revised in terms of regulatory system. The co-operation of the government as well as the people should give emphasis. The incorporation of controls campaigns and programs must also be given. To prevent the youth from getting into a habit of smoking and usage of other tobacco products the preventive measures of barring the age limit and should be given (World Health Organization 2015). Elimination of exposure of non-smokers in passively smoking should be prevented by different control strategy and strictly punishable offense; identification of disparities also with eradication strategies; spreading the awareness through visibility tools promotional campaign of adverse effect of consuming tobacco and other control strategies should be given emphasis. There have been measures of success achieved by different strategies that have been strictly implemented. According to the statistical data the reduction in the usage are significant. The decline is more from the years of 1990s to 2015 (Chelwa et al. 2015). The decline in the consumption has significantly reduced as the result of control strategies in prevention steps. In the year 2012 the students are identified to use tobacco less than once in 30 days. The significant dip in the consumption scale is hopeful for the society and public health standards. The enhancement in the strategy of enriching public health standards and success of the implemented control strategies should be shared. The government rules and regulations play an essential part in regulating the environment to a smoke free environment. This policies helps in reduction of environmental pollution too. The encouragement to quit smoking and motivation that can lead to a smoking free environment should be developed and incorporated in the strategy (Nargis et al. 2015). Restriction in point of sale for teens and the youth comes under the control policies as well. The extensive availability and looseness in the control policies should be avoided near schools and colleges to eradicate the influence and visibility of tobacco. Though the fluency of usage of tobacco is taken seriously all over the world, there are some setbacks in preventing measures. Even after the campaigns and awareness programs, the deadly diseases have spread and the death risks have not been mitigated completely. The hole in the monitoring system and bans in advertisements and taxation plan has improved but have to achieve its main target (Nargis et al. 2015). After the launch of National tobacco Campaign, the results were not so much effective. Therefore, the Cafes and restaurants were marked as the non-smoking area. Some of the states were announced as the non-smoking zone. In 2005 the anti smoking campaigns are one among the major initiatives taken by the Australian government. It also has some good effect though the campaigns did not last long. The health warnings and spreading awareness of harmful effects of tobacco was launched in the different area of Australia. Until 2007 the anti tobacco campaigns were extended to restaurants, clubs, nightclubs and casinos. The penalty punishments were in effect after 2007. The taxes were imposed in the shops, on products as well as the point of sale of the outlet. To prevent the minors from the getting their hands on the tobacco products the checking of the buyers Identifications facility was in effect. These initiatives were baby steps to eradicate the usage, though the eliminating the risk that comes from this could not be handled properly and responsibility towards the people who are already addicted to the habit of consuming were neglected. In 2006, ACCC National tobacco campaign was launched in Australia (Nargis et al. 2015). The removal of branding in the packaging ensured unattractive standardised products for the consumer, which were to some extent reduced the appeal of using tobacco among teens. Various recommendations were given and the tobacco control strategies on schools and colleges. Alerts were given among adults an parents which has become mandatory to be implemented. The conduction of the awareness program in the mass media and promoting through different international icons can reduce the usage of tobacco (Flick 2015). What are the control strategies taken to eradicate the tobacco consumption problem? What process is used in implementing the prevention of usage of tobacco in the government of states? What are the adverse effects of using the tobacco in youth as well as in the middle aged also to the passive smokers? How the implementation strategy can be improved and implemented to increase its effectiveness? Research design and methodology The process of conducting a research is done in this chapter. The problem statement and the research questions and gaps that have been identified by doing the secondary data analysis, will be used and implemented in the following texts and discussions. Based on the objectives an outline of the research will be developed and the method of doing the research will be discussed in this section. To conduct the research in this field the qualitative and quantitative, both of the approach will be discussed and implemented. The adverse effect and control strategies of eradicating the tobacco usage problem will be researched (Zemanick et al. 2015). The systematic structure of doing the research and analysing the control strategies will be done in qualitative and quantitative way. The qualitative research and analysis will include the exploratory method of collecting data. This is primary way of doing research. The most common expected outcome of developing and conducting the research is to identifying the gap and develop hypothesis and understanding the underlying attitude of the sample population (de Silva et al. 2017). Identifying the trends and reasons opinion motivation of the people using tobacco and what factors of preventive control strategies will be applicable in which stage of life is the exploration of doing the research. This approach is also done in unstructured questionnaires and open ended responds. The sample size is typically small in this process compared to other research (Silverman 2016). The interview method is selected for qualitative method of data collection. The managers of the tobacco selling companies will be interviewed, with the government professionals that are involved in the policy making of tobacco usage in Australia (Golnick et al. 2016). Quantitative way of research is to quantify the problem, identifying the variables and making the responds transferred to numeric data or alphanumeric data. The survey method of doing the research and taking a larger sample population and getting the variables generalised for huge survey results is done in this research method. In this method the survey of the sample size selected and the 90 smokers will be questioned to get the survey data. Approaches to reliability and validity The approaches to reliability and validity are must in conducting secondary or primary research. This factor also ensures that the research outcome is without a hint of any manipulation and valuable for academic usage. The most important part of is also maintaining the ethics of doing the research (de Silva et al. 2017). This factor includes that the result of the research done is apparently reliable. It is also done by testing and evaluating the data. This part uses the training and testing of data used in research. Focusing on the quality of research is done in this part of the process. The factors that must be considered in maintaining the reliability of the research are neutrality, credibility, conformity, consistency, applicability and transferability. These essential factors must be considered. The examination process must be trustworthy to be continued. The measurement process is must be done going by the reliability of quantitative research. To maintain the stability of the research reliability must be ensured to be incorporated (Ritchie et al. 2013). Validity of research is of two types. One of the two is construct validity, which is essential in quantitative research. The variables that consist of more than one observation types must be of construct validity incorporated. To maintain the validity factor the true score and actual score should consists of minimal different between them. The error adjusting must be done with less effort. The concept validity of research is done by maintaining imperceptivity of conceptions that are used in the field (Fraley and Hudson, 2014). The qualitative research is done to seek the phenomena that are content specific. The categorical variables that are used in this study must be specific considered the following things. There is two way of conducting a research. One is inductive and another is deductive. This is in the second stage of conducting a research, while determining the design and approach. The inductive way includes the observation of data, collection, interpreting and analysing the data. The related theory, concepts and models as well as the tools are required in this process. The deductive way of research is done in selecting theory, developing the hypothesis, analysing the data, and implementing the confirmation of theoretical evidences (de Silva et al. 2017).. Here in the first assessment the problem in control and implementation strategies are identified and gathered. Therefore, the proposals contain the resource and method of gathering the data. This is the inductive way of doing research. Among the exploratory, explanatory and descriptive way of doing research, this research is done in a combination of exploratory and descriptive way of doing research. The explanatory research is most based on the connecting the ideas, concepts and with explanation the research is done. Whereas the exploratory is dependent upon the problem statement recognition and based on that doing further research (Fraley and Hudson, 2014). The descriptive way of doing research is to develop the main objectives of the study and then designing the research. The primary data of quantitative nature will be collected from smokers in Australias particular region. In addition, the identified non-smokers of the tobacco selling company and the government professional known as the non-smokers, will be questioned based on the questionnaires prepared. Gathering the primary data based on the variables and specified observations choosing the population and sample, on which the analysis will be done, is given. The two basic sampling method is probability sampling and non probability sampling. Here the method chosen for this assignment is probability sampling (Fraley and Hudson, 2014). Here the researchers have taken the convenient probability sampling method. Therefore, the deviation in the distribution sampling will be reduced in case of primary data collection. Here a general survey method will be conducted on a sample who is smokers. Sample size will be of 90 different respondents. Another general sample of people who are non-smokers will be surveyed. The government professionals and professionals of tobacco selling company will be identified for conducting the primary research. The number in the non-smoker category is less as compared to identified smokers. The number of professional is 10. Interview and questionnaire design In this process, the interview questionnaires will be different for non-smoker and professionals of company and government of Australia. The questionnaires for the professionals will be open-ended and will be analysed by an attitude scale. Whereas, the survey questions for smokers will be structured and close ended. The variables identified will be based on the questionnaires prepared (de Silva et al. 2017). The Google forms to collect the survey responds. For analysis, the Microsoft Excel and SPSS are selected as tools. The graphs and charts will also be used to interpret the data. The main limitation of this project is to be collected and their availability from the primary source. The authentic research journal and previously done unauthenticated research can lead to falsification of data (Zemanick et al. 2015). Conclusion Therefore, from the above discussions and proposal it can be concludes that eradication of the tobacco usage and its after effects problem is still a goal that needs to be achieved. Therefore, the control strategies and information can be helpful in effectiveness of the main strategy. The scope, the brief summary of the literature review and the main steps to conduct the research are also given in the project. The steps to conduct the research can be done in effective measurements given above. The objective highlighted in the assessments needs to be kept in mind. Early the next morning they found William, a boy who was healthy and active, lying motionless on the ground. He had fingerprints and markings on his neck. Elizabeth unjustly accused herself of being responsible of Williamââ¬â¢s death because he teased her to let him wear a valuable miniature that was possessed by Victorââ¬â¢s mother. She believed that this tempted the murderer to take it from William and strangle him so he couldnââ¬â¢t tell. This all being told in a letter, filled Victor with devasta
